Always Make Strong Passwords

Making Strong Password is the most important thing to protect your facebook account or any other platforms where you are logging in. Do not make simple passwords like using your name, date of birth, surname, nickname, id related, mobile no., because this basic info which is present in your profile is easily traceable and hackable by dictionaries. Also, don’t use these most used passwords which people generally use like:

  1. 123456
  2. 123456789
  3. qwerty
  4. 12345678
  5. 111111
  6. 1234567890
  7. 1234567
  8. passwords
  9. 123123
  10. 987654321
  11. qwertyuiop
  12. my-noob
  13. 123321
  14. 666666
  15. hack me
  16. [email protected]

These passwords used by the majority of people in the year 2017, you see how much easy are they to hack. Even these kind of passwords are not need to hack these are very simple, hackers first use these after they use tools to crack your password, if they don’t find from these.

We recommend you to use password generators who generate unique passwords using different characters according to you. You can also make a strong password using a different kind of characters in a password, which isn’t crackable. Always make 8+ character password like [email protected]$%#124587^&* this kind of password protect your account because it’s hard to crack even likely impossible. If you think its hard to remember then cut some characters. This method will definitely help you on how to protect the Facebook account.

The 2-Step Verification

Use Google 2-Step verification which helps you to cover better protection of your account.  If you use different platforms or different gadgets means mobile, tablet, pc then you have to use 2-Step verification it’s a free service which allows you to manage your logins through this authentication code. Like if you are using a smartphone then download an App called Google Authenticator, download it and link it to your all online accounts which you use.

How to link: Go to the settings of your facebook account Settings > Security >Use two-factor authentication> enable it. Check the box next to “Require a login code to access my account”.

After setting up it always ask you the code on login, it doesn’t matter from which device you are logging in or from which place your logging in.

Always Use Login Approvals

Using this setting you enable one more security wall to your account by clicking enable it from the Settings > Security > Login Approvals. This feature will ask you a authentic permission form your verified attached mobile no. or your email id. After clicking on that you will be able to use your account it doesn’t matter which gadget you are trying to login it will always ask a permission.

Always LOGOUT From Other Devices

It is also more important if you use different or public devices like cafe etc then do not save the password, always click on not now. This might also happen to you. If you do not have a device to browse the web, never save your passwords on a device you have no control over. The password will remain there, and someone will definitely log into your account without any hustle.

Clicking on “not now’ (don’t save my password dialog box) will prevent you from hacking on public devices. But leaving your account logged in also opens the way for hackers to take control of your account. Even if you close the browser after a session, Facebook will recognize the session as continuous for a while. If a person comes in just right after you, he should have access to your account.

After every use ensure that you have logged out and that neither your number nor email address is displayed in the tabs. You’ll otherwise find some nasty posts up on your wall if the guy is aiming to hack you. It also helps you to protect your Facebook account from being hacked.

Clean Up Your Browsing History & Cookies

We also advise you to clean up your browser & cookies every once in awhile….

Maximum phishing and virus activities are found in porn and torrent sites. If you are a frequent visitor (not judging), always clear your data before someone gains access to your authentication details. For this, you can download an Ad-Blocker tool/extension to take care of that for you.

Spywares And Malware

The hackers not only use to hack you online because there are many other ways also. A hacker can hack your browser through malicious software you may have unknowingly installed on your computer. Some of this software could also spam some pop-up ads onto your screen or browser. You can avoid this by using malware, adware, and spyware removers. For this, you can download an Ad-Blocker tool/extension to take care of that for you.
